Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. We offer a wide range of veterinary services to keep your companions feeling their best:

Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services:  Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.  

Wellness Care:   We provide comprehensive preventative care customized to your pet's individual lifestyle and needs.    Thorough and regular physical examinations, immunizations, heartworm testing, parasite testing, diagnostic wellness profiles, dental and orthopedic evaluation, pain assessment and management, and nutritional counseling are all provided to help maximize your pets comfort and quality of life!
      
Surgical Services:  Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgeries, both routine and advanced.    We provide advice and referral to specialists if your pet needs orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, or thoracic surgery.
   
Anesthesia:  We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, the patient's vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures.
    
Internal Medicine:   We provide thorough diagnostic work-ups and therapeutic care for internal illnesses such as kidney disease, diabetes, adrenal gland diseases, heart disease, immune system disturbances, gastrointestinal dysfunction, infectious disease and oncology.   We provide in-house ultrasound.  We provide referrals in those situations where our patients require the services of specialists in internal medicine.
   
Radiology Services:  Our on-site, modern X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the quick diagnosis of many disorders.

Ultrasonography:   On-site ultrasound equipment is maintained and utilized to assist in diagnosing problems involving the heart, abdomen and urinary tract.
   
Electrocardiography Services:  We provide ECG services as well as consultations with local cardiology specialists.
   
Dentistry:   We provide dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, tooth extractions and oral surgery using state-of-the-art equipment.

Dermatology:   We diagnose and treat a wide-range of dermatologic conditions including allergic skin disease, bacterial and fungal infections, parasitic infestations and skin cancer. 
   
Laboratory:   Our in-house laboratory is fully equipped for chemistry testing, basic hematology, urine testing, cytology, testing for parasites, and basic serology.   We also utilize the services of an outside professional veterinary laboratory for a broad range of testing, from comprehensive chemistry profiles and complete blood counts to hormonal testing, advanced serology, and histopathology.  We tailor our diagnostic recommendations to your pet's individual needs and condition.
    
Permanent identification:  We offer microchip implantation using the Home Again Pet Retrieval System.
    
Pharmacy:  We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick control products and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet. We also carry a full line of prescription diets.
   
Individualized Flea Control Programs:  We develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to control fleas in your house, in your yard and on your pet.

Dietary Counseling:   We provide comprehensive nutritional counseling and recommendations based on your pet's individual condition, stage of life, and special needs.   
    
Behavioral Counseling:  We provide information, advice, guidance regarding numerous behavioral issues common to pets.  We also offer referral to clinical specialists in animal behavior for situations where this would be of benefit. 

Bathing:  Routine and therapeutic bathing services are available.
