Joanna

Joanna joined the Hazel Dell family in January 2011 and became Hospital Manager in 2019. With 30 years of experience in the veterinary field, she continues to enjoy learning something new every day and is passionate about supporting both patients and her team. She grew up on a horse farm in Fortville, Indiana, surrounded by barn cats, dogs, and goats—an upbringing that naturally sparked her interest in veterinary medicine. She studied Veterinary Technology at the College of Southern Nevada while living in Las Vegas for two and a half years. On any given day, you’ll likely find Joanna in the feline treatment area, snuggling patients. She lives in Noblesville with her husband, her son, and their five cats: Biscuit, Hades, Citrine, Onyx, and Cozy.
